Dear brothers and sisters,
 
We ask you to pray diligently and even to fast for our brother Mustapha Krim and all the churches of Bejaia in Algeria. Yesterday, Mustapha was summoned to the Bejaia city hall and the Mayor handed him a written order to close all the places of worship located in Bejaia and in the entire “Wilaya (county or district).”
 
Here is the Texte of the written order :
 
“The closing of buildings used particularly for the practice of Christian worship, everywhere in the territory of the wilaya.
 
Every building allocated for, or in the process of being allocated for the practice of non Muslim religious worship, is to be permanently closed throughout the national territory of Algeria. This also applies to those buildings which have not received the compliance decision from the National Commission for non-Muslim worship. This is in light of the provisions of Ruling N° 03-06 cited above.”
 
Our brothers and sisters will continue their worship in spite of this notice. Our Lord will act on our behalf and He is our justice. In his Name we will be victorious.
